Indications include cementation of metal or porcelain fused to metal inlays, onlays, crowns, stainless steel crowns, posts and screws, as an attachment of metal orthodontic bands, or as a base or liner. High fluoride release to assist with remineralisation of the natural dentition. Low solubility in the oral environment, increasing the materials ability to resist disintegration and wear caused by oral acidity. High flexural strength enhances longevity.
