A Decision with Vision Using Phosphor plate technology and the Dürr VistaScan Perio, you can digitise all of your Intra-Oral X-ray images and use existing positioning guides. Image plates are so comparable to film that neither you, your nurse or your patient should notice the handling difference to traditional film. Compared with any other scanner on the market today, the VistaScan Perio is faster, has a higher diagnostic image quality, and is more efficient and cost effective. With this new VistaScan Perio from Dürr Dental you can expect more than from conventional scanners. It is a multi-slot scanner with input/output buffer that can trigger up to 8 images in one step with its cassette loading system. It will also erase plates and leave them ready to use again automatically as part of the process. The process takes as little time as 8 seconds to produce one image. Its innovative design also means the image plate is handled without contact to the active surface to ensure maximum plate life.
